This disc has organic material bonded and riveted to an aluminum - backing plate with a marcel drive plate sandwiched between two surfaces. The hub is rigidly attached to the drive plate. No sacrificing standing start clutch engagement. Its use is widely accepted in autocross; Slalom; Solo I; mini-stock; and rallying: and it is often used in dual-purpose vehicles that are still driven on the street. US Patent 5;226;516
